Manchester United outcast Andre Onana provided an assist in Trabzonspor’s 1-1 draw against Gaziantep in the Turkish Super Liga match on September 20, 2025.

The United loanee ventured far outside his penalty area, taking matters into his own hands and delivering a pinpoint pass to Paul Onuachu behind the opponent’s defence.

The striker held off several defenders before slotting the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper, helping Trabzonspor come from behind to snatch a point.

This performance marks another boost for Onana, who had a fantastic debut against Fenerbahce, making eight crucial saves despite a narrow 1-0 defeat.

Onana joined the Turkish side on a season-long loan from Manchester United in 2025 after enduring a difficult campaign.

Before the move, he had featured in just one game for United during the 2025/26 season, their Carabao Cup second-round exit against fourth-tier side Grimsby Town, where he conceded 11 times in the penalty shootout.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper is now on a mission to rediscover his best form following a poor run in the 2024/2025 season, during which United’s abysmal performance affected his reputation.
