    Legendary Togolese footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor met with some Black Stars players at the Accra Sports Stadium after Ghana’s 1-0 victory over Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

    The former Tottenham Hotspur striker, wearing a white shirt, was spotted with Thomas Partey and Antoine Semenyo at the car park having a conversation.

    Although the interaction was inaudible, Adebayor engaged Partey in an extensive conversation while smiling, and Semenyo later joined in.

    The former Arsenal player was present at the stadium to support the Black Stars in their 2026 World Cup qualification bid as they defeated Mali in a keenly contested match.

    After eight matches, Ghana lead Group I with 19 points, Madagascar are second with 16 points, Comoros afre third with 15 points, while Mali lie fourth with 12 points.

    The team will regroup in October 2025 to play their final two matches against the Central African Republic (CAR) and Comoros.
