Alleged Jeffery Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre is still holed up in a Perth hospital more than 10 days after a mysterious car crash with a school bus, despite conflicting reports about its severity.
The 41-year-old – who was allegedly trafficked by Epstein to have sex with Prince Andrew as a teenager – initially claimed she had just ‘four days to live’ after the crash at a rural intersection in Neergabby, north of Perth, Western Australia.
She had shared a selfie from her hospital bed showing her severely bruised face, but the bus driver, WA Police and multiple other witnesses said the collision was not nearly as serious as she made out.
Giuffre shot to notoriety after she claimed she was trafficked as a 17-year-old to have sex with Prince Andrew. In February 2022, she won a payout for an undisclosed amount, reportedly in the millions, though it came with no admission of liability.
Afterwards she made a fresh start by acquiring a $1.3 million country property for her family, with the sprawling 40-acre farm boasting two separate homes, stables and multiple outbuildings. It is less than an hour north from the family’s beachfront mansion in Perth.
To outsiders, the high-security gated property looks like an idyllic place to bring up children with a babbling brook, horses and a custom-built dirt bike track around the perimeter.
But in reality, the 40-acre property is a gilded cage, surrounded by barbed wire fences and high-tech CCTV.
No doubt Giuffre wanted to shield her three teenage children, a daughter and two sons, from prying eyes, previously admitting her profile was ‘a lot for them to carry’.

Giuffre has been living at the farm alone since a ‘messy’ split from her husband Robert earlier this year.
She also appears to be estranged from her children. They attended school this past week though no sign of them was seen at Guiffre’s hospital during visiting hours.
Her eldest son is no longer ‘friends’ with his mum on social media.
‘You don’t know the half of it,’ one neighbour told Daily Mail Australia. ‘I can’t really say anymore, but none of this surprises me.’
Hospital sources have told Daily Mail Australia that ‘it looks like she may be here for a few more days still’.
When she does leave hospital, she is expected to return to the farm where she now lives an almost reclusive life, cut off from the outside world and now, it appears, her family.
The small township surrounding the property has little more than 250 residents and the area is mostly home to vegetable farms employing seasonal workers and retirees.
It’s unlikely many people in the sleepy community would even recognise their newest neighbour.

By all accounts Giuffre has quietly slipped into her new country life and keeps to herself.
She doesn’t frequent the nearest coffee shop, country club or pub, and her absence has been noted during community events by other locals.
While she seemingly shuns local stores she is still a regular at the large mall closer to the city where she can sink into the crowds and is often spotted ‘splashing her cash on solo shopping trips’.
‘She is not very friendly,’ noted one retired lady who lives alongside the secluded property.
‘If you don’t make yourself known here then it can be very lonely and she hasn’t really joined the community.’
While her husband initially joined the towns social media pages, posting about his wish to keep bees and plant native trees, he is now living at their Perth beach house with their three children.
Unable to manage the upkeep of the livestock that include horses, sheep and chickens she has hired local lady, Cheryl Sassela, as a farmhand.
Spotted most days tending to the animals and cleaning the yard, the 71-year-old was at the wheel on the day of the controversial accident.

Ms Sassela was at the wheel when the car collided with the bus but said the whole drama has been a misunderstanding

Seemingly unscathed herself, Ms Sassela told Daily Mail Australia she is not part of a ‘cover up,’ and believes her boss will clear up any confusion.
‘I’m sure Virginia will release a statement soon to clear it all up,’ she said.
Giuffre claimed on March 30 she was suffering kidney failure after being hit by a speeding school bus at 110kms an hour.
However, the bus driver Sean Munns and multiple passengers have since come forward claiming the crash was nothing more than a ‘minor bump.’
WA Police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia they had one recent record of a ‘minor,’ bus and car collision with ‘no reported injuries’ on March 24 just after 3pm.
According to reports, Giuffre admitted herself to Joondalup Hospital in the northern suburbs of Perth, with a pre-existing injury after the collision but was discharged the following day.
The following week Giuffre was brought to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, also in Perth, by ambulance and was seeking treatment for pain.
On Wednesday her agent, who reportedly also represents Monika Lewinsky, weighed in on the situation with a statement.
‘Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care. On March 24, in rural Western Australia, a school bus hit the car in which she was riding,’ the statement from Giuffre’s agent read.
‘The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene.
‘They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital.
‘The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a police report, which he did later.
‘Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital.’
Life has seemingly continued as normal for Mr Giuffre who was spotted today doing the school run, buying dog food and letting the pool maintenance man in.
He didn’t wish to comment on his wife’s condition, however, a man claiming to be his ‘buddy’ pulled up outside his property insisting the bizarre turn of events had little to do with Mr Giuffre.
‘So what if she is in hospital, so what if she made up a lie, she doesn’t even live here anymore so what’s it got to do with him,’ the man said.
