    The viral video of a road safety officer at a major road in Akure, Ondo State engaging in social media activities on road duty has sparked concern.

    The officer was caught on camera by a pedestrian @mrfrank002 who recorded him making a video of himself, instead of controlling the flow of traffic.

    Since his phone was connected to a ring light in the video, the officer appeared ready to film content and might even have been live streaming on TikTok.

    The road safety officer reportedly known as “Eba” by some Akure residents was seemingly engaging in social media activities and simultaneously performing his road duty responsibilities.

    While some netizens expressed concern about a possible traffic accident because of his lack of focus on duty, others disclosed running into the man on TikTok live streams.
