Veteran Ghanaian Akan drama actor and pastor, Osofo Moses, has opened up about a difficult health ordeal that nearly left him bedridden and dependent on a wheelchair.
The veteran actor made the shocking revelation during an interview with media personality Zionfelix on the Uncut Show.
According to Osofo Moses, sometime around December 2025, he became seriously ill and reached a point where performing basic activities became extremely difficult.

He explained that he struggled to sit, stand and even sleep comfortably because of the condition, leaving him deeply concerned about his ability to move around normally.
Osofo Moses said he sought medical attention from several health facilities in an attempt to find a solution to the problem.
Among the hospitals he mentioned was the Tema General Hospital, alongside a number of private hospitals where he underwent various forms of treatment.
However, despite visiting different hospitals and spending thousands of Ghana cedis on medical care, the veteran actor said his condition did not improve.
He disclosed that things eventually became so serious that he feared he could become bedridden and possibly end up relying on a wheelchair if the situation continued.
According to him, it was through the intervention of a friend who visited him that he eventually got connected to a doctor who played a crucial role in helping him.
Osofo Moses explained that the doctor came to his home and conducted laboratory tests on him, after which he was given treatment that eventually helped improve his condition.
He described the intervention as a major turning point, suggesting that without the doctor’s assistance, his situation could have deteriorated further and left him unable to move around freely.
The veteran actor further disclosed that he is currently on medication which comes at a very high cost.
He explained that, in addition to the expensive drugs, he has to take an injection every three months as part of his ongoing treatment in order to maintain his health and continue moving around.
Osofo Moses also used the interview to acknowledge people who have supported him during the difficult period.
He specifically expressed gratitude to fellow actor and philanthropist Oboy Salinko for helping to pay some of his medical expenses.
The veteran actor also praised his wife for standing firmly by him and providing him with significant support throughout the challenging period.
While expressing appreciation to everyone who has already assisted him, Osofo Moses appealed to individuals who are willing and able to support him to do so now, stressing that the cost of his ongoing treatment remains very expensive.
