A video of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie engaging in a conversation with Black Stars coaches Fatau Dauda and John Paintsil has been making the rounds on social media.

The viral video captures the two former Black Stars players in a conversation with the decorated rapper at a program in Accra.

All three men could be seen taking turns to chip in words and gesticulate either with their heads or hands.

As the video circulates on social media, some Ghanaians are interpreting it, with some suggesting that they were discussing the results of the 2024 elections.

Others believe that they were discussing the poor performance of the Black Stars in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

In the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, the Black Stars did not win any of the six games played, losing three and drawing three.

The Black Stars finished bottom of a group that had Angola as winners, Sudan in second, and Niger in third place.

Following this development, there have been rumors of the possible dismissal of John Paintsil and Fatau Dauda as assistant coach and goalkeepers’ trainer, respectively.

According to reports, Otto Addo has recommended the sacking of the two as he believes they did not contribute anything meaningful to the AFCON qualification bid.
