Ghanaian music duo Dope Nation have reignited their ongoing feud with former Lynx Entertainment label mate Kuami Eugene.

In a recent interview on 3 Music TV’s morning entertainment show hosted by Jay Foley and his team, theydescribed the award-winning musician as a spoilt child.

The twin brothers claimed that prior to signing with Lynx Entertainment, they were explicitly warned by management about Kuami Eugene’s attitude and were advised to accommodate him.

“When we got signed to Lynx Entertainment, we were pre-informed that Kuami Eugene was a spoilt child, so we should accommodate him. And truly, when we got signed, it actually happened,” they said during the interview.

The duo went further to state that if fellow former Lynx signee KiDi was bold enough, he would say the exact same thing about Kuami Eugene’s behaviour during their time at the label.

Adding more fuel to the ongoing tension, Dope Nation also accused Kuami Eugene of stealing some of their beats and songs while they were label mates.

They noted that although they kept quiet about these actions at the time, they have now decided to speak out.

Dope Nation also took a light-hearted yet sarcastic jab at the current state of affairs, saying they intend to profit from Kuami Eugene’s antics. According to them, the singer’s “silly remarks” will continue to serve as material for them to create music and, ultimately, make money.

    Background To The Feud

The twins’ latest comments come after a series of back-and-forth exchanges between themselves and Kuami Eugene on social media.
The tension escalated after Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment, officially confirmed Kuami Eugene’s exit from the label during a recent interview.

Following this announcement, Dope Nation threw subtle jabs at the “Monica” hitmaker, advising him not to steal songs ahead of their upcoming releases. They also referenced the notorious Lynx curse and wished him luck in surviving it.

Kuami Eugene, in response, accused Dope Nation of seeking clout to promote what he described as a gym song and vowed to focus his energy on bigger projects.
