Ghanaian sprinter and former national 100-metre record holder Benjamin Azamati has tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Raquel Chavez, following their engagement about a year ago.
The couple celebrated their marriage in the presence of family, friends and loved ones, with videos from the ceremony capturing memorable moments from the celebration.

The wedding comes roughly a year after Azamati proposed to Raquel in a romantic setting aboard what appeared to be a luxury yacht.
The proposal was reportedly made around Positano on Italy’s picturesque Amalfi Coast, where Azamati got down on one knee and popped the question. Raquel accepted the proposal, with photographs capturing the memorable moment later making rounds online.
