The 6th Africa Sustainability Report and Think Energy SDGs Awards recently celebrated a significant achievement, with Professor Kwadwo Adinkrah-Appiah, Vice-Chancellor of Sunyani Technical University, receiving a top honor.

Held on October 23, 2025, these awards recognised contributions to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting Professor Adinkrah-Appiah’s exceptional leadership and dedication.

Reflecting on his journey to this achievement, Professor Adinkrah-Appiah emphasised the dedication and teamwork that made it possible.

“It’s been a challenging but rewarding path, marked by teamwork and a strong belief in our vision,” he noted.

“This award reflects the collective effort of everyone at Sunyani Technical University,” he told GhanaWeb.

Upon receiving the award, he expressed his deep gratitude and pride, stating, “I’m truly honored and humbled. It highlights the impact we can make when we work together toward a sustainable future.”
