    The Sporting Director of Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Axel Schuster has indicated that the club is excited with the signing of American forward Emmanuel Sabbi.

    According to him, the club is confident that the experienced attacker will strengthen the squad of the team with his quality.

    “Emmanuel is an experienced attacking player who has played in one of the best leagues in the world. He’ll add another dimension to our attack, and he is capable of playing on either wing or up top. We’re excited to welcome Emmanuel to our club,” Axel Schuster said as quoted on the website of Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

    Emmanuel Sabbi, an Italian-born attacker of Ghanaian descent sealed his move to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

    The winger joined Vancouver Whitecaps from French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC.

    In the official statement from the MLS club on Tuesday, it stated that the forward agreed to a contract through 2027, with a club option for 2028.
