    Ursula Owusu Ekuful, the Communications Minister and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, has spoken out following her defeat in the 2024 elections.

    The Communications Minister was beaten by Rev. Kweku Addo, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

    The clergyman won the parliamentary election with 31,866 votes, while Mrs Owusu-Ekuful received 26,575.

    In a social media post, she revealed that she is beginning a new chapter in her life and is looking forward to what the good Lord has in store for her.

    Ursula Owusu feels confident about the future.

    Her message said, “Thank you, Ablekuma West!!” Sayonara….Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity to serve. The next chapter in my life is beginning, so let’s see what He has planned for me. “Looking into the future with confidence.”

    In order to focus on her private companies and legal practice, the communications minister may decide to step away from active politics after handing over.
