Rapper Agbeko was spotted on the street unkempt

Ghanaian rapper Agbeko, once signed to The Last Two Music Group, is back in the news after a video of him in a troubling situation with media personality Andy Dosty surfaced online.

In a video shared online by DJ Bridash on October 28, 2025, showed an embattled Agbeko was seen walked up to Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty on the street to ask for money.

The rapper who looked “unkempt” told Andy Dosty he needed money to buy a few basic items.

Andy Dosty declined to give him cash, reportedly out of concern that it might be misused, given the rapper’s alleged history of drug abuse that has derailed his career.

Instead, the media personality offered to buy him food, an offer which Agbeko hesitated to accept before eventually agreeing.

Agbeko was one of the well-known faces in Ghana’s entertainment scene in the early 2000s, working under the guidance of veteran producer Hammer, who featured him on several projects under his Last Two Music.

The rapper stood out in the mainstream scene for his use of the Ewe language in his songs, much like Edem.

Although Agbeko started off strong in the music scene, his career later fell apart, with many reports suggesting that drug use played a major role in his downfall.

Although he had several hit songs such as “Lay Low,” “Wotome” and others to his name, he eventually lost his place in the entertainment industry and disappeared from the spotlight.
