Rodaline Imoru Ayarna claimed in a recent interview with TV3 Ghana that they had everything under President Akufo Addo’s regime but are still hungry.

    “In his Words”

“I am still wondering what happened, with all the money, all the promises made about transportation and the railway sector, and still, we are where we are. Those ones you just mentioned, are they working? You are a journalist, you travel around, but me I don’t, so I haven’t really come across anyone. The last one I saw was the test drive of our famous, I don’t know why they paint our trains in our national colour, I mean just painting it red and stuffs like that”.

“Those are some of the things, I mean we just throw money down the drain, that’s the fact. This government wasted our money, and they have nothing to show for it, for me that is something he must admit, that somehow yes, we did get the loans, we did get the grants, we did get the monies, but we misused and mismanaged the monies that came. Because I don’t see how Ghanaians could be in this position, especially when it comes to agriculture”.

“They was so much you know, we had tractors brought in, we had fertilizers, we had all manner of things and still yet we are hungry, we can not even afford the staples. At one point we talked and somebody goes to bring plantains to the ministry for us to go and buy. President Akufo Addo has done his bit, yes he has been president, that has been his wish, he has been able to achieve it and that is his greatest achievement, not that he was a great leader for this country, I don’t see that way”, Rodaline Imoru Ayarna said.

TV3 Ghana posted a video of the interview on their official Instagram page today, Thursday, January 2, 2025, and it sparked tremendous comments from the general public. To watch the video, click on the link provided below.
