A UK-based lady has packed her bags and moved back to Nigeria to start life afresh with a man she met on social media seven years ago.

In a video on TikTok, she captured her heartfelt journey from boarding her flight out of the United Kingdom to the emotional moment she reunited with her long-time Nigerian lover, who has now become her husband.

The clip shows her excitement and relief as she finally closes the distance after years of friendship and online connection.

Sharing her story, she wrote “Packed my bags back to Nigeria to start life afresh with the man I met on social media seven years ago. This is home, this is whom I yearn for, and I am glad that the journey to forever has begun. Seven years as friends and forever as partners!”

The lady further revealed in the comment section that she has no intention of returning to the UK.

She said she has fully embraced her new identity as a wife, having already celebrated a traditional marriage ceremony and proudly taking on the name Mrs. Salome Efe.

Her bold and emotional decision has sparked mixed reactions online, with many viewers describing her story as a testament to modern-day romance one that shows how love, patience, and conviction can truly bring people home.
