Miami Dolphins fans were sent into a frenzy by Tyreek Hill‘s cryptic emoji responses to X posts about his trade rumors.

Trade speculations hovered over Hill before his third season in Miami ended in disappointment. The Dolphins missed the playoffs with an 8-9 record as Hill received 959 yards and a career-low six touchdowns.

It did not take long until Hill fanned the flames of his apparent trade request on social media, which continued on Sunday, March 30.

The wideout first reposted a tweet saying ‘Fins Nation: Would you be open to trading Tyreek Hill,’ with a smiling emoji.

Within the same hour, he posted a peace sign emoji with a tweet from a fan, claiming Hill is ‘probably’ the biggest draft night player trade candidate.

Cheetah then posted another peace sign emoji by itself, which had fans from other teams raise their hands to bid for his preferred destination. Meanwhile, Dolphins fans expressed their frustration with the receiver.

Tyreek Hill sent fans on a frenzy with cryptic emoji responses to posts about his trade rumors

‘Us Dolphin fans are tired of you waddle and tua all hype zero results,’ one fan wrote, referring to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

‘Go to ‘@nyjets you and Garrett will go crazy and they need another WR,’ another chimed in.

‘Lol you do this to yourself my guy. Too much of a distraction,’ a third chimed in. ‘That exit interview at the end of the season says it all. The constant fanboying of your old team says it all. We can get so much back for trading bro.’

‘Come catch TDs from Drake Maye,’ a fourth added as several users raved about the Patriots across his tweets.

‘Yes you’re a quitter, you quit on your team, teammates, coaches, and your fans. Please leave,’ a fifth wrote.

Following a Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans in December, that moved the Dolphins to 6-8, Cheetah seemingly vented his frustrations amid the tough season.\

After the game, Hill wrote ‘It’s time for me to go coach,’ without context or explanation.

Fans had mixed reactions to the posts as the wide receiver's future remains uncertain

Fans had mixed reactions to the posts as the wide receiver’s future remains uncertain

In February, Dolphins insider Cameron Wolfe said the team ‘have certainly talked to him and they’re open to brining him back but I’ve not talked with anyone with the team who’s said they’re 100 percent certain they won’t trade him.

‘So unless we hear otherwise, that is going to be a lingering story. Do they move forward with Tyreek Hill as a key part of their team or do they try to move him and build elsewhere?’

Hill agreed to a three-year, $90million deal with the Dolphins in August 2024, including $65m in guaranteed money. The 31-year-old arrived in Miami in 2022 after six years with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Upon his arrival, Miami broke a six-year playoff drought with postseason appearances in 2022 and 2023.
