Two Chelsea supporters have been stabbed following an altercation with Napoli Ultras on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

According to the Daily Mail, the fans were attacked while heading to a bar at night. They were injured but no lives were lost.

It was reported that the two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. One of them, who was allegedly stabbed in the buttock, has since been discharged.

Another fan shared an image of his bloodied hand as a result of the stabbing during the chaotic incident.

An official statement from the London club confirmed they are aware of the incident and are taking steps to ensure the safety of their supporters.

However, fans were warned to be extra careful in Naples to avoid further incidents that could escalate the situation.

“The club is aware of an incident that took place on Tuesday evening in Naples. Two fans are being treated in hospital, having sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The club would like to remind all supporters to exercise extreme caution whilst in the city and take note of the advice shared ahead of this fixture,” the statement read, as reported by Daily Mail.

Pressure has been mounting ahead of Chelsea’s game against Napoli, with a win for either side crucial to their qualification hopes.

The Blues are currently placed 8th in the Champions League table with 13 points and will need a victory to cement their place in the top eight for automatic qualification.

Napoli, on the other hand, are seeking to qualify for the play-offs and need a win to boost their tally of 8 points to achieve their target.
