Donald Trump tore into a reporter asking Attorney General Pam Bondi what was discovered in the review of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
The president was furious that the New York Post reporter wanted to ‘desecrate’ the deadly Texas flood tragedy by asking Bondi about the Epstein files during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, surely aware of how the abrupt conclusion of the investigation has riled up his MAGA base.
A bombshell memo released by the Justice Department and FBI on Sunday night concluded the agencies found no proof that the convicted child sex criminal was murdered nor that he held a list of high-profile clients that he blackmailed.
‘Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?’ Trump lamented to reporters present for his six-month Cabinet meeting. ‘This guy’s been talked about for years.’
He said that the media needs to move on from ‘this creep’ Epstein and focus more on the tragedy in Texas and ongoing wars in the Middle East and between Russia and Ukraine.
The memo rocked MAGA world considering Trump’s supporters have for years pressed conspiracies about the official report that found Epstein killed himself in his jail cell on August 10, 2019.

Bondi said that they the DOJ would not be releasing more from the files because it included tens of thousands of videos of child pornography that Epstein downloaded onto his devices
During his 2024 campaign, Trump vowed that he would release federal government secrets – including the files on Jeffrey Epstein and the investigations on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.
Trump, however, is now ready to move on from the Epstein files.
‘Do you want to waste the time – do you feel like answering?’ Trump asked his Attorney General, who was just one seat away from the president with Secretary of State Marco Rubio between them during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
Bondi said she didn’t mind answering the question, but Trump continued his tirade against the Post reporter.
‘I mean, I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this where we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas. It just seems like a desecration, but you go ahead,’ he said to his embattled attorney general.
Trump told the reporter that they were ‘desecrating’ the importance of the deadly Texas floods by asking about convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein
Bondi then sought to clarify that she never admitted there was a ‘client list’ and that she was actually referencing the complete paperwork related to the investigation into Epstein’s child sex trafficking crimes.
She then said that the reason more evidence was not released is because it contained child pornography.
‘They turned out to be child porn downloaded by that disgusting Jeffrey Epstein,’ Bondi said. ‘Never going to be released, never going to see the light of day.’
Conservative commentator Glenn Beck became the latest member of the right-wing movement to call for Bondi’s resignation on Wednesday.
‘This isn’t about whether Epstein killed himself or not. What matters more is real transparency and justice. But instead what we got was absolute incompetence in the attorney general’s office,’ Beck posted.
