New polling shows Kamala Harris with a slight edge in the so-called ‘blue wall’ states with just four days to go before the election as there are new signs Donald Trump could be losing support among one of the most reliable voting groups.

The polling comes as both the vice president and Trump will be campaigning in ‘blue wall’ states on Friday.

The Marist poll found Harris is up three points over Trump in Michigan among likely voters, 51 percent to 48 percent.

It shows her also up in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin by two points, with 50 percent to Trump’s 48 percent in each.

All three are within the margin of error. But if the vice president locks in the three ‘blue wall’ states, she will clinch the necessary 270 electoral votes to win the White House.

Vice President Kamala Harris appears to have a slight edge on former President Donald Trump in the three states known as the ‘blue wall’ according to new polling

In Michigan, Harris has opened a six point lead among Independent voters, the polling found. She leads Trump among Independents 52 percent to 46 percent.

More than 2.3 million people have already voted in Michigan.

Among those who have already cast their ballots in the state, Harris has 63 percent. But Trump leads by those who have yet to vote by 59 percent.

In Pennsylvania, the polling shows a dramatic 19-point sift among Independent voters from the polling in September when Trump had a four point lead.

It has Harris at 55 percent among Independents while Trump has 40 percent of their support. The vice president has a greater edge there than when Biden won the state in 2020.

More than 1.6 million people have already voted in the Keystone State.

Pennsylvania is the only battleground that does not have early in-person voting, so people have to their mail back mail ballots or drop them off in person.

Among those who have voted already there, Harris leads with 63 percent.

The polling there comes as there are warning signs for Trump when it comes to seniors voting in the Keystone State.

More than 52 percent of those who have already cast ballots are 65 and up, according to modeling by TargetSmart.

But when it comes to those seniors, registered Democrats account for 58 percent of the votes cast compared to just 35 percent for Republicans, despite both parties having roughly the same number of registered seniors, Politico reported.

Republicans expect more of its senior voters to show up on Election Day, and the polling found Trump has an edge with 54 percent overall to Harris’ 44 percent when it comes to those who have yet to cast ballots.

But Harris’ large lead with seniors already could be a red flag for Trump who carried the senior vote despite losing the state in 2020 as the GOP has been encouraging more voters to participate in early voting this election season.

Meanwhile in Wisconsin, the vice president also has a six point lead among Independent voters, 51 percent to 45 percent.

The vice president appears to have also somewhat closed the gap with white voters. While Trump still leads among white voters by two points, it’s a smaller margin than he led by in 2020 against Biden and still lost the state.

More than 1.2 million  people have already voted in Wisconsin. Harris leads among those who have cast their ballots by fourteen points, 57 percent to 43 percent.

Both Harris and Trump are campaigning in Wisconsin on Friday. Harris has a series of three rallies across the state.

Trump will end the day with a rally in Milwaukee after he also has a campaign stop in Michigan earlier in the day.
