Ghanaian socialite and former Miss Malaika contestant, Gisela Amponsah, has sparked reactions on social media over an alleged thirty thousand Ghana cedis furniture.
In a video circulating on social media, Gisela noted that she paid GH¢30,000 for furniture, however, she didn’t receive the dimensions and design she requested.
“At the beginning of the process, I was ecstatic about working with two furniture brands, that is Interior by Hey and Furniture by Pinkfriday, but I am so disappointed in Pinkfriday’s service. She brought a tiny couch, and when I complained, she told me she was going to attach some but later brought me the same thing.
“She (Pinkfriday) is also disrespectful. You are ranting about your frustration, and she will be acting like you are disrespecting her. Also, her workers will be telling you to watch your tone. How can I do that because I have spent so much money on this furniture? Who would want to spend thirty thousand on furniture and get this disappointment after waiting for weeks?” she asked.
Meanwhile, Pinkfriday, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the furniture company, took to her social media handle to debunk claims that Gisela bought the said furniture for GH¢30,000.
According to her, the socialite bought furniture for GH¢18,000 and not as has been speculated on social media.
“I don’t like to explain, but first of all, she paid 18k for 5 in 1 L-shaped couch, an 11ft TV stand, dining, bubble couch, and dining chairs. 18k Gisela for these! You talk too much!!!
“She didn’t give me any measurements. Why don’t you ask her to show chat where she paid it?? Why are you taking sides without proof? Also, when we delivered the couch, you said it’s small, you ordered 5 in 1, why were you expecting 6 in 1? Aside from that, you loved everything. You paid 18k for everything… What even pains me the most is I gave her massive discounts! And all I got was lies,” she said.
Meanwhile, some netizens have taken to social media to express their disappointment in the socialite for the series of allegations against the furniture company.
