The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, has pledged his full support for the upcoming Tour du Ghana, reaffirming his long-standing commitment to sports and tourism development in Ghana.

Celebrated for his visionary leadership, philanthropy, and passion for national progress, Togbe’s endorsement brings great prestige to the cycling event while underscoring his broader contributions to Ghana’s sporting and economic landscape.

His support for the Tour du Ghana aligns with his vision of leveraging sports to promote healthy living, tourism, and socio-economic growth across the nation.

During a courtesy call led by Togbe Adabra, alongside officials of the Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF) and the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Togbe commended both organizations for their dedication in organizing the 10th edition of the Tour du Ghana, describing it as a landmark event that elevates Ghana’s standing in African cycling and sports tourism.

“Sports build character, unity, and hope. The Tour du Ghana is a powerful way to bring people together while showcasing our country’s beauty and talent,” Togbe remarked.

Togbe Adabra, together with the Ghana Cycling Federation and the Ghana Olympic Committee, expressed profound gratitude for Togbe Afede’s endorsement, noting that his involvement brings national recognition and credibility to the Tour du Ghana.

With Togbe Afede XIV’s strong advocacy and unwavering support, the Tour du Ghana 2025, scheduled from 13th to 24th November 2025, is set to be more than a thrilling cycling competition — it will stand as a celebration of national unity, youth empowerment, sports tourism, and the enduring spirit of Ghanaian sportsmanship.
