A devastating multi-vehicle collision in Gravesend, Brooklyn, on Saturday afternoon resulted in the deaths of two children and one adult pedestrian, according to the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

The incident occurred at approximately 1:04 p.m. at 1672 Ocean Parkway, near Quentin Road.

Responding NYPD officers and FDNY personnel found a chaotic scene involving a Toyota Camry and an Audi, with multiple individuals injured.

Tragically, two child pedestrians and one adult pedestrian were transported to Maimonides Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Another child involved in the incident remains in critical condition.

The Toyota Camry carried three passengers, two of whom were children.

Those two children were transported to Kings County Hospital and are currently in stable condition.

The third child from the Camry was the one transported to Maimonides Medical Center and was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Audi was taken to NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

‘It’s pretty bad,’ a police source at the scene told NY Post, describing the grim aftermath.

Children’s shoes were seen strewn in the street in the aftermath of the wreck.

The NYPD’s investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.

Authorities are working to determine the sequence of events that led to this tragic incident.

A crowd was seen gathering outside to look at the aftermath.

This recent tragedy follows a Christmas Day incident in New York City’s Herald Square, where a taxi struck six pedestrians, including a nine-year-old child.

At 4:03 p.m., a yellow cab traveling northbound on Sixth Avenue veered onto the sidewalk at West 34th Street, injuring multiple people.

NYPD confirmed the 58-year-old taxi driver experienced a possible medical episode.

The six injured pedestrians sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

    Victims included a nine-year-old boy, a 19-year-old woman, a 37-year-old woman, a 41-year-old woman, and two 49-year-old women.

The nine-year-old suffered a laceration to his right thigh, and the 41-year-old sustained a head injury, both requiring treatment at Weill Cornell Medical Center.

A 49-year-old woman with a leg injury was taken to Bellevue Hospital. The remaining three women declined medical attention.

All six victims were reported to be in stable condition.
