Three people sustained minor injuries after a Nissan Frontier lost control, crashed into a tree, and overturned into a bush in Brekumanso on March 10.

The accident triggered a fire outbreak, prompting a swift response from firefighters from Asamankese, with additional support from Suhum Fire Station. The crew managed to bring the flames under control and fully extinguish them by 1:45 p.m.

The fire destroyed the vehicle and scorched nearby vegetation before being contained.

The injured victims, including the driver and a female passenger, were taken to Asamankese Government Hospital for treatment.

Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening emergency response efforts in the region to prevent further incidents.
