Thousands of Moroccans flooded the streets of Rabat on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, to celebrate the Atlas Cubs for winning the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Chile.

Morocco defeated 6 times World champions, Argentina in the finals on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Chile to become the second African country to win the U-20 World Cup.

In front of the over 48,000 spectators at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, a first half brace from 20-year-old Yassir Zabiri sealed an empathic 2-0 victory for Morocco over the South American side.

Morocco reached the final by beating South Korea, the United States and France in the knockout rounds before downing Argentina to cap an impressive run.
