Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is likely to miss Arsenal’s encounter against AS Monaco in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

The concern arises after the Black Stars’ midfield enforcer missed his team’s training session on Tuesday.

Although he will undergo a late fitness test, checks have revealed that it is more likely for Thomas Partey to miss the game against the French Ligue 1 outfit.

Addressing a press conference today, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed worry about the injured players in his squad, emphasizing that his team will have to cope in their absence.

“We have to manage a lot of the players, so they’re probably not going to be fit for tomorrow and are a doubt. I still have 24 hours to make those decisions and hopefully the right ones,” Mikel Arteta said as quoted on www.arsenal.com.

He continued, “It is what it is. In the end, if we have to accept the challenge and its opportunities for other players to step up. Ideally, we would be in control of making those decisions for the right reasons, but we also need to accept reality and move forward.”

The big UEFA Champions League match between Arsenal and AS Monaco will kick off at 8 pm at Emirates Stadium.
