A trending video of the popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller speaking ill about the people participating in the “30-day Rant Challenge” has earned him severe backlash from Nigerians.

The wave of criticisms against the TikToker came when a video of him surfaced online where he was bashing Nigerians participating in the 30-day rant challenge.

In the video, the TikToker claimed that most were doing the videos for likes and views and to get popular on the platform like him.

He also claimed that they should stop as the challenge could ruin things for him, saying the Nigerian government to ban TikTok due to the numerous things being said about the government by those participating in the challenge.

The “30-day rant challenge” is a challenge where Nigerians of all demographics post a video voicing their complaints and expressing their dissatisfaction about the current state of Nigeria, every day for 30 days.

Although the challenge began on TikTok, it has since migrated to other platforms like X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram, with numerous Nigerians participating in the challenge.

The video of Peller has garnered him overwhelming backlash from Nigerians who were angered by his comments. They heaped criticisms and insults alike upon the TikToker, with many expressing their disappointment at his words and behaviour.

They claimed due to his success he was out of touch with the average Nigerian and should keep his mouth shut, with some even going as far as to unfollow him.
