Nigerian musician Davido has spoken for the first time since his glamorous white wedding to his wife, Chioma Adeleke, which became the talk of the town.
In a post on X on August 14, 2025, Davido stated that he and his newlywed wife had an amazing ceremony.
While throwing jabs at critics who condemned him for hosting a lavish wedding, along with other faults and controversies that surfaced during the event, Davido said he and his wife remain unperturbed.

“We had an amazing wedding, Perfect in fact! And my wife’s body still Dey sweet us like this,” he said in English mixed with Pidgin.
Davido further described his marriage ceremony as a fairytale, adding that the wedding was one of the best days of his life.
“Nothing una fit do say, or make up will never change the facts that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days, not the best day of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” he added.
