Clergywoman, Laurie Idahosa has affirmed that there’s nothing wrong with a married woman ordering food from vendors for her family.

Laurie stated this in an Instagram post on Monday afternoon, March 20, while reacting to a man’s post bemoaning the growing trend of married women ordering food online rather than cooking for themselves.

“There’s a growing trend amongst Nigerian women these days…..they order Stews, Soups and Jollof they eat at home from vendors. And I mean married women”, the Twitter user had written.

Reacting, Laurie Idahosa noted there’s no shame in choosing not to cook and ordering food from vendors as a married woman.

She continued by saying there are no gender restrictions in the kitchen.

    Her words,

“Yes, and there’s no shame in it. If you don’t like the food I ordered, feel free to cook. Kitchens don’t have a gender.”
