Veteran gospel musician Esther Smith has supported recent claims made by her colleague Cwesi Oteng that spiritual attacks are prevalent within the gospel music industry.

Esther Smith responded to Cwesi Oteng’s allegation that some gospel musicians took his album to a cemetery in an attempt to spiritually sabotage it.

Reacting to the story on Facebook, Esther Smith said she has had similar experiences and warned that the industry is filled with dark, harmful practices.

According to the ‘Nyame Aguanmaa’ hitmaker, the attacks in the industry are not limited to just one’s music career but also relationships, finances, and health.

Esther Smith further advised believers in the gospel space to remain prayerful, insisting that many of these spiritual battles are not coincidental.

In the concluding part of her post, she described the gospel industry as “pure evil” and said if she were to disclose the full extent of her personal trials, people would feel sorry for her.

“Hmmm this industry. You see, if you are genuine, they will fight and deal with you until you give up. Sometimes they can work through your relationship, your finances, even your health. That is the reason why the Bible says we should pray without ceasing. There are a lot of evil things going around that, if you pray hard, you can definitely see it. You don’t need a prophet to tell you this,” she wrote.
