    Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State for Government Communications, has denied allegations that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was purposefully left out of the National Economic Dialogue, a gathering that President John Dramani Mahama’s administration arranged to discuss Ghana’s economic difficulties. His explanation comes after worries about the NPP’s lack of representation at the well-known event. Kwakye Ofosu asserted that nothing stopped the NPP or any other political party from participating, even if they were not officially invited, because the conversation was an inclusive forum intended to promote cooperation among all parties. “I know that there were people there that you could characterize as NPP members or sympathizers, but I will need to confirm with the organizers. such as Kwame Pianim,

    There were other previous NPP appointees present, including Dr. Paul Acquah and Dr. Ernest Addison, who served as governors of the Bank of Ghana during NPP administrations. Therefore, I can state that there isn’t a policy that excludes people based on their political affiliation. However, I’ll make sure to see if the NPP or any other political party was invited directly. In any event, just a week ago, the NPP threatened to boycott it. They were establishing requirements to attend. As a result, they didn’t seem too interested in participating. Additionally, they have a history of abstaining from comparable gatherings, particularly the Senchi Economic Forum. Thus, it appears from their records that they are not
