Alfred Obeng-Boateng, an NPP member of parliament for the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region, is accused of releasing images of people he hired for security service jobs. Today, the member who has admitted publicly to using money to win his parliamentary primary has made public images of people and claimed to be the one who got them jobs in the security services.

The majority of the staff members the MP allegedly assisted were hired by the Ghana Police Service, while some were part of the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana Prison Service, the Ghana Fire Service, and the Ghana Armed Forces.

Theophilus Berchie, an X user, expressed these assertions on X and asked how the public and these people themselves felt about the obvious politicization of their service. “To all political opponents: take note of these individuals,” he continued. Make a note of them. According to Alfred Obeng Boateng, they are not merely public employees but rather NPP foot soldiers who have been hand-picked and funded. How can we have faith in such people to act impartially for society?

Not only is this incorrect, but it also betrays the fundamental values that ought to direct our public institutions. It destroys the foundation of our society, erodes trust, and compromises the integrity of the police force. He scrawled, “Enough is enough!” on X.
