Ludogorets and Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey has revealed his career aspirations for the next two years.

The 27-year-old, who has played for clubs like Schalke 04, Paderborn, Düsseldorf, and now Bulgarian giants Ludogorets, is aiming to make strategic moves as he approaches the peak of his career.

With his sights set high, Tekpetey has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League. However, with Middle Eastern clubs offering lucrative deals, the forward has not ruled out a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

In an interview with Asempa FM, the former Schalke striker shared his career plans and acknowledged the importance of financial security in case his ambitions do not fully materialize.

“I am believing in God that in the next two years, I want to be in England, if God permits. If it doesn’t happen, I want to go to Saudi Arabia. The money is very necessary,” he said.

In August 2024, Tekpetey suffered an injury against Qarabağ in the Champions League qualifiers and has not featured for Ludogorets since as he continues his recovery.

Despite this setback, he boasts an impressive record, with 41 goals and 35 assists across all competitions since joining Ludogorets in 2020.
