Sharing on her Instagram page, she noted that the Super Eagles lost because of Yul Edochie’s prophecy before the match started.
The actor now turned pastor had earlier prophesied that the Super Eagles would defeat the Ivorians hands down.
However, the prophecy didn’t come to pass as the Ivorians won against the Super Eagles two goals to one.
This led to Sarah Martins calling him out for his vague prophecy. She wrote in the post;
“The moment Pastor Yul prophesied, I knew we were gonna loose. The only opportunity he had to proof that indeed God called him, If he had held back his prophecy we for win… Orishirisiri.”
While many Nigerians agreed with the actress, others trooped to Yul Edochie’s page to drag him over his fake prophecy.
Below are some of the comments,
@dandyike77: Person wen heal d blind online 😂 why Nigeria no go lose? 😂
@__desire95: Daddy you sure say na God call you so?
@bisholak: Yul stop mocking God. Anything you put your hands and mouth on lately does not progress. You said South Africa will surprise Nigeria and it’s the opposite and now you predict for Nigeria look at the outcome.
@ninnyflourish: Why do you always give fake prophecies….Now they have score….leave prophesy is not for you
