New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, has asserted that the event that transpired at the party’s National Delegates Conference, which was held on July 19, 2025, has shown that its members want different leaders.

In a post shared on social media on Sunday, July 20, 2025, Ken Agyapong, who lost the party’s flagbearership race for the 2024 election to former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, indicated that a forthright person will attest to this fact.

He added that the party’s leadership must be filled with people who listen, and not those who always impose their will on members.

“The message from the base is clear, they’re calling for real change. This is no time for pretence.

It’s time to rebuild the NPP with honesty, discipline and patriotism at the core. Leadership must return to those who listen, not dictate,” he said.

His post was accompanied by visuals of his arrival at the venue of the National Delegates Conference, the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Ken could be seen standing on the roof of a car, waving and making change gestures from his vehicle to hundreds of supporters who were cheering him on.

See the post and the pictures below:
