The Head of Public Events and Communications (PRO) at Charterhouse Productions Ltd, Robert Klah has spoken about the recent criticisms surrounding the just-ended 2025 TGMAs red carpet.

One would recall that after the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) some fashion critics such as Charlie Dior among others called for Charterhouse to motivate personalities who join the red carpet with some incentives.

However, in an interview with GhanaWeb‘s Joseph Henry Mensah on May 16, 2025, Robert Klah noted that the personalities invited on the red carpet are all mature individuals capable of funding themselves.

“I think an icing on the cake is nice but I don’t think it really matters to cushion or motivate them because these are all big boys and girls who come in their own right to do these for the love of fashion and music industry,” he said.

He then noted that Charterhouse has received all the criticism and is considering implementing such an initiative in the future awards scheme.

“We have had conversations about it and maybe very soon that would come through,” he added.
