    A video circulating on social media shows a young man believed to be in his early 20s being arrested by the Ghana Police Service for his alleged involvement in a murder case.

    In a post shared on X by The State News on January 12, 2026, it reported that the suspect, identified as Paa Kwesi, allegedly murdered his landlady, Madam Charlotte, following a dispute over unsanitary behaviour.

    According to reports gathered by GhanaWeb, the victim was killed after being assaulted by her tenant’s grandson, Paa Kwesi, during an argument over sanitation issues in a shared compound.

    In the less-than-one-minute video circulating online, the alleged suspect is seen narrating events that reportedly led to the death of Madam Charlotte.

    The footage, which was accompanied by a caption, also indicated that the body of the landlady had been deposited at the Agona Swedru Mortuary for autopsy.

    “A landlady, Madam Charlotte, has died after being assaulted by her tenant’s grandson, Paa Kwesi, during a dispute over unsanitary behavior in a shared compound at Agona Nyakrom.

    “Police have arrested the suspect and commenced investigations. The body has been deposited at the Agona Swedru Mortuary for autopsy,” the post noted.
