Tacha recognized for setting record for the most cosmetic makeovers
The Guinness World Records has officially recognized Nigerian reality TV personality Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Simply Tacha, for setting a new record for the most cosmetic makeovers in 24 hours.
In a statement published on its website, GWR announced that Tacha achieved not just one, but two world record titles.
According to the organization, the reality TV personality, popular for her appearances on Big Brother Naija, and MTV’s The Challenge, spent an entire day giving women makeovers to make them feel beautiful, even while facing power cuts.

“Congratulations to @Symply_Tacha who set TWO new @GWR titles for the most cosmetic makeovers in eight hours AND 24 hours,” Guinness World Records shared on social media.
Tacha first broke the record for the most cosmetic makeovers in 8 hours (individual) with 82 clients, and continued for the rest of the day to reach 144 makeovers in 24 hours.
Her achievement surpassed the previous record held by Mary Yongai from Sierra Leone by over 30 people.
Each of Tacha’s 144 models received a full beauty transformation, which included foundation, concealer, blush, two eyeshadows, mascara, lip liner, gloss, finishing powder, and shaped eyebrows.
The marathon took place on October 11, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, where Tacha set up her makeup booth behind a glass wall.
