The head coach of Swedru All Blacks, Ahmed Fathi, has expressed confidence that his side is preparing to beat Hohoe United in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture.
He acknowledged that although Hohoe United also gained promotion to the Premier League this year, just like Swedru All Blacks, his team will give their utmost effort to secure a positive result.
The Egyptian coach described their recent home defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars as painful, adding that the team has returned to the drawing board to identify and correct their mistakes ahead of the next match.
‘Come on Ghana!’ – Why it’s time to teach Comoros a lesson
“Like every week, this is our process after any game. We start by analyzing the match and work to solve our problems and mistakes. That’s what we’ve done this week through our training exercises. We hope that in the next game, we will get a good result. As you know, this is our first year in the Premier League after 16 seasons away.
“We have a big dream to progress through the league and climb the table. That dream motivates us, and everyone here is ready to sacrifice for it. We are very sorry for the last result at home, but we’ve promised our fans that we’ll do our best to bounce back, win, and restore their confidence in our team,” he said.
Swedru All Blacks will travel to face Hohoe United in an away fixture on October 12, 2025.
After four matches played, the Swedru-based club sit 13th on the league table with three points, while Hohoe United are 10th with five points.
