    The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has congratulated Samson Deen on his re-election as President of the African Paralympic Committee (APC).

    Samson Deen on Sunday, November 9, 2025, won his re-election with a resounding victory at the African Paralympic Committee General Assembly in Accra.

    He secured his re-election victory after securing 38 out of 40 total votes cast the African Paralympic Committee General Assembly.

    SWAG described his re-election as a testament to the trust and confidence the African sporting community continues to have in his leadership and vision.

    The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to Samson Deen on his resounding re-election as the President of the African Paralympic Committee (APC).

    Deen’s re-election is a powerful affirmation of the trust and confidence placed in his dynamic leadership and his unwavering commitment to advancing the Paralympic movement across the African continent.

    His continued mandate underscores the success and positive trajectory initiated during his first tenure, which has brought increased visibility, professionalization, and support to para-athletes.

    SWAG recognizes Samson Deen not only as a distinguished Ghanaian sports administrator but also as a tireless champion for inclusion and equal opportunity in sports.

    We are immensely proud of his continuous exemplary service at the highest level of African sports administration.
