A gruesome incident has shaken the community of Gomoa Afransi, the capital of the Gomoa Central District in the Central Region of Ghana. An Okada rider body was discovered beheaded on Thursday along the road connecting Gomoa Afransi to Gomoa Kwame Ahwere.

According to Hon. Duncan, the Assemblyman for the area, the tragic discovery was made after an Aboboyaa rider came across a motorbike parked on the roadside near Kwame Ahwere. The motorbike was accompanied by a pair of slippers and other personal belongings. Sensing something was amiss, the Aboboyaa rider transported the items to Gomoa Afransi to investigate their ownership.

Although no one in the town initially recognized the items, the Aboboyaa rider identified the motorbike and led investigators to its owner. Upon recognizing the belongings, the community launched a search for the missing rider. Their search ended in horror as the Okada rider’s beheaded body was discovered in a bush near the roadside.

In a dramatic turn of events, Hon. Duncan revealed that the suspected killer was apprehended later that afternoon in a nearby village called Nsabaa, located in the Agona East District. The suspect was reportedly found in possession of a human head, believed to belong to the deceased rider. He has since been handed over to the police in Winneba for further investigation.

This chilling act has left residents of Gomoa Afransi and its surrounding communities in shock and fear. The authorities have urged calm while they work to uncover the full circumstances surrounding this horrific crime.

The police investigation is ongoing, and the public is being urged to report any additional information that could aid in unravelling the mystery surrounding case.
