Security footage from a Utah gas station revealed alleged Charlie Kirk assassin’s whereabouts in the 33 hours before he was arrested.

New video obtained by Fox News Digital showed Tyler Robinson, 22, at a gas station in Cedar City, Utah one day after the right-wing influencer was shot.

Kirk was gunned down at a Turning Point USA event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem on September 10.

Authorities suspected that Robinson had dumped evidence at the Maverick gas station 215 miles away from the university.

Police went to the gas station in response to the tip, which prompted them to uncover the footage.

However, it also led them to confirm that he did not dump anything in the gas station’s trash while he was there.

The video showed Robinson arriving at the gas station on September 11 at 7.15am in his Dodge Challenger less than 24 hours into the manhunt.

He exited his vehicle and paid with a credit card before pumping fuel into his car.

He then got back in his vehicle and drove away, staying at the gas station no more than a few minutes.

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was spotted at a gas station 215 miles away from where the conservative influencer was shot

The Cedar City Police Department described the video: ‘Once the tank was full, he removed the nozzle, closed the gas cap, got back into his vehicle and left the gas station.

‘At no time did Tyler approach or use any trash cans to dispose of items.’

The video does give insight into Robinson’s getaway route from Orem, Utah to St. George, Utah where he was arrested on September 11.

Robinson was taken into custody after he ‘implied’ guilt to his parents, friends, and roommate.

The day before, Robinson returned to the crime scene to retrieve his weapon, likely in hopes of getting away without a trace, according to the New York Post.

Robinson allegedly told authorities scoping out the scene that he’d left something near the parking garage and needed to go get it.

This description was very close to where police eventually found the weapon.

At the time, Robinson remained unsuspicious to police, because hundreds of people had dropped their things and fled to safety amid the gunshots.

Officers still did a routine check of his license plate, which later helped them link the encounter to the suspect.

Text messages revealed by prosecutors read: ‘If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence.

‘Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on. I haven’t seen anything about them finding it.’

Although, some social media users noted the awkward, almost scripted nature of the text and suggested it was fake.

Police found the weapon on September 11 and Robinson was arrested just hours after he was recorded at the Cedar City gas station.

He now faces charges of aggravated murder, two counts of obstruction of justice, felony discharge of a firearm, two counts of witness tampering, and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.

Prosecutors have said that they plan on seeking the death penalty in Robinson’s case.
