    The Acting Chief Justice of Ghana, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, appointed private legal practitioner Felix William Ograh as a Notary Public.

    The brief swearing-in ceremony, held at the Supreme Court in Accra, marks a significant milestone in his illustrious legal career.

    As a Notary Public, he is now vested with authority in accordance with the Notaries Public Act, 1960 (Act 26) to administer oaths, certify documents, attest to the authenticity of signatures and perform official acts in commercial matters, such as protecting negotiable instruments.

    In his twelfth year at the Bar, his appointment attests to his unwavering commitment and dedication to justice and the rule of law.

    The appointment is also a recognition of an enduring legacy of legal practice with proven integrity, high moral character, dedication, excellence, and professionalism.

    Ograh is also a seasoned Management Consultant, Procurement Specialist, and Financial Strategist.

    He has held senior managerial and consulting roles in both the public and private sectors, with a career spanning nearly two and a half decades across various fields, including energy, procurement, integrated supply chain, logistics, finance, law, real estate and media.

    He serves on various corporate boards, including Gold Coast Advisors.

    Ograh is an alumnus of the University of Ghana, University of Oxford, University of Dundee, and Harvard Kennedy School.

    He holds degrees in Biochemistry, Finance, Accounting, Law, and Corporate and Commercial Law.

    Ograh undertook editorial review of the books Essentials of the Ghana Law of Evidence by Justice S. A. Brobbey and The Law and Practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Ghana by Justice S. A. Brobbey and Victor Brobbey, Esq.

    He has written on various subjects in the fields of procurement and integrated supply chain management, which are under publication.

    Francis-Xavier Sosu appointed Notary Public by the Supreme Court

    He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), African Bar Association (AfBA), International Bar Association (IBA) and Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA).

    He serves on the following CLA committees: Climate Justice Committee, ADR Committee, Corporate and Commercial Committee and Anti-Corruption Sub-committee.

    Ograh is a chartered member of both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM).

    A key advocate of law and development, Ograh’s appointment as Notary Public further strengthens his progressive and transformational role in Ghana’s legal arena.
