Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Nana Frimpong Ziega Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Nana Frimpong Ziega

Entertainment pundit Nana Frimpong Ziega has issued a stern warning to netizens accusing Hajia4Reall of providing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with information about individuals allegedly involved in a $100 million romance scam.

Speaking on United Showbiz on June 21, 2025, Nana Frimpong Ziega emphasised that the arrest of the alleged fraudsters is part of a government-led initiative, not the result of an individual’s actions.

He explained that one of the government’s priorities is tackling crime, including fraud and romance scams, and therefore, linking Hajia4Reall to the ongoing FBI raids is unfounded and inappropriate.

“There are some things that, if this current government fails to achieve, will hurt them in 2028, such as economic stability, galamsey, and dumsor. Romance scams are also something the government has been actively fighting.

“Let’s stop this myopic thinking. It is wrong for us to believe that she bargained with the FBI to provide information in exchange for her release. That is absolute nonsense,” he said.

He further warned that associating Hajia4Reall with the alleged romance scam could put her life in danger.

“Let’s be careful with these accusations because someone could harm her for no reason based on these false claims,” he added.

Nana Frimpong Ziega’s comments come in the wake of the FBI arresting several Ghanaian businessmen, Kofi Boateng (popularly known as Kofi Boat), Joseph Boateng (Dada Joe Remix), Inusah Ahmed (also known as Agony), and others, over their alleged involvement in a $100 million fraud scheme.
