Veteran Ghanaian gospel singer, Agnes Opoku Agyemang, has shared thoughtful advice to women about love and marriage, urging them to prioritize genuine affection over material possessions.
Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, the “Wama Mekra Anigye” singer cautioned women against marrying for wealth or property, saying such motives often lead to disappointment. She explained that properties should not be the main focus when choosing a life partner and encouraged women to work hard to acquire their own wealth instead of relying on their spouses.
Agnes Opoku Agyemang noted that many women today find themselves fighting over assets, forgetting that they too can build successful lives through determination and effort. She emphasized that strong marriages are rooted in mutual understanding and sincere love, not in financial gain.

Additionally, she urged men to be open and transparent in their relationships, as secrecy can easily destroy trust and harmony in marriage.
