Stonebwoy has shared a new video for “SHINE,” the latest clip off his latest LP UP & RUNNIN6.

Directed by filmmaker Yaw Skyface, “SHINE” arrives as the award-winning Ghanaian great’s eighth UP & RUNNIN6 visual, having previously shared music videos for “JIGGLE & WHINE,” “OVERLORD RMX,” “PRAY FOR ME,” “MEMORIES,” “YOUR BODY,” “EKELEBE,” and “JEJEREJE.”

The visuals for “SHINE” are rich with symbolism and contrast. It opens with Stonebwoy behind the wheel, driving through the night, and transitions into darker, gothic-toned visuals.

Stonebwoy appears in a majestic black suit, seated on a throne in a castle chamber illuminated by a sea of candles. In one particularly captivating sequence, Stonebwoy is shown holding a candle himself—becoming the bearer of light. A striking transition from his head to that of a lion reinforces themes of courage and leadership.

“SHINE” profits from prolific Amapiano production while incorporating Stonebwoy’s Afrodancehall elements. The track is laced with slick verses and danceable grooves, but its core message and theme are simple yet profound: resilience, vindication, and confident self-affirmation.

Stonebwoy released UP & RUNNIN6, a bold 13-track album that further explores his signature Afro-Dancehall style while embracing global genres such as Amapiano, Highlife, R&B, and Reggae. The project reflects his ongoing evolution and creative range, featuring artists like Wyclef Jean, Ir Sais, Ginton, Duncan Mighty, Blvk H3ro, Kaylan Arnold, Chi Ching Ching, Amaria BB, Spice, Jahmiel, 10Tik, Larruso, and Odumodublvck.
