Event host and MC, Ogee the MC, has clarified why dancehall sensation Stonebwoy was missing at Sarkodie’s much-talked-about Rapperholic concert held in Kumasi.

In an interview on Max TV, Ogee revealed that Stonebwoy’s absence had nothing to do with any misunderstanding or tension between the two top artistes, as speculated on social media. According to him, the “Into the Future” hitmaker had to travel to London a day before the event, which coincidentally clashed with the show’s date.

“He left Ghana a day before the show for a trip to London. If he was in town, he definitely would’ve been there — he loves Kumasi too much to disappoint his fans,” Ogee explained.

He further addressed the swirling rumours online suggesting a fallout between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie. Ogee stressed that there is no bad blood between the two award-winning musicians.

“Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are cool; there’s no issue between them,” he emphasized, urging fans to disregard any claims of tension.

Stonebwoy and Sarkodie have in the past collaborated on multiple projects and have often shown mutual respect for each other’s craft. Ogee’s clarification thus puts to rest the ongoing speculations surrounding the dancehall artiste’s absence from the major event.
