Peter Okoye, a member of the defunct ‘P Square’ music group has commended Stonebwoy’s humility, describing him as a superstar who deserves to be protected.
In an interview on TV3, he recalled how Stonebwoy travelled from Ghana to Nigeria on the very same day he submitted his verse for their “Odo” record, just to be part of the music video shoot without any delay.

“The day Stonebwoy sent in his verse, I was already on set shooting the video. My choreographer told me, ‘Peter, don’t shoot this video, let’s make it a remix.’ I asked Stonebwoy where he was, and he said he was in Ghana. I told him we were filming that same day, and he immediately got on a flight to Nigeria to join us on set,” he said.
Peter noted that Stonebwoy’s decision to travel for the shoot, along with the way he took time to interact warmly with everyone on location, showed how genuinely humble he is.
“Stonebwoy took photos with every single person on set. I stood there watching it all happen. I always thought I was humble, but Stonebwoy is really humble,” he added.
The Nigerian singer further pointed out that Stonebwoy stands out among Ghanaian superstars because of his down-to-earth nature, urging Ghanaians to appreciate and protect him.
“Stonebwoy is very humble and needs to be protected. Ghanaians, you have a superstar. With all due respect to everyone, Stonebwoy reminds me of myself. He flew to Nigeria just to record a song with me, and everyone behind the scenes loved him,” he added.
