Minister of Sports and Recreation-designate, Kofi Iddie Adams, has underscored the need to bring in more stakeholders on board to address funding challenges in the sports space.

The Buem Member of Parliament asserted that bringing in more stakeholders and regenerating love for sports will improve access to funding.

He made the remarks while speaking to journalists after he joined the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) elections held on January 23, 2025.

He opined that funding has been a challenge for the sporting industry, and it was about time the country got more stakeholders on board to address the challenge.

“We need to bring back the love, and I believe one of the challenging parts of our sports has been funding, so we must all sit down and have a discussion, and let’s see how we can sort this problem out, and if we can regenerate the love, many more people may be willing to also come on board to help us deal with the funding challenge,” he stated.
