Some supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Effutu Constituency have vandalized the party’s constituency office in protest over the government’s failure to appoint James Kofi Annan, the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the area.

A video shared on X by UTV Ghana on Friday, January 24, 2025, captured the irate party members in red headbands destroying party property as a form of protest.

They later set some of the vandalised property on fire.

The aggrieved supporters urged President John Dramani Mahama to recognise James Kofi Annan’s dedication and hard work during the elections by offering him a government appointment.

” He has really worked hard, the president must reward him for his hard work”, one stated.
