Arsenal have become the laughing stock on social media after losing at home to Manchester United in the Premier League.

The Gunner’s title wining Premier League campaign took a major hit after their 3-2 defeat against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

The defeat to Manchester United not only boosted Manchester City’s title hopes but also shattered Arsenal’s hopes of breaking the best defensive record in Premier League history, set by José Mourinho’s Chelsea 21 years ago.

Chelsea in the 2004/2005 Premier League season conceded only 15 goals in 38 games with goalkeeper Petr Cech keeping 24 clean sheets to win the Golden Glove Award.

Arsenal who conceded only 2 goals in their opening 10 games have now conceded 15 goals in their last 10 games taking their total tally of goals conceded to 17 in the ongoing Premier League season.

This has turned Arsenal into a laughing stock, with rival fans mocking them for bragging before getting the job done.
