    A Nigerian man has proven just how important beards are to a man’s appearance, after he shared the aftermath of shaving his own beard.

    The man @prinx_dcreator, shared a video on TikTok of the before and after of shaving his beard, a decision he had been putting off for a while.

    Making up his mind, he shaved off the beard but kept the mustache, going from looking like a “Yoruba Devil” to someone’s uncle.

    The loss of his beard and his bald head caused him to look much older than he appeared in the first part of his video; the difference was quite shocking to viewers.

    It proved to many that a beard was to men what makeup is to women, a way to improve one’s overall facial appearance.

    The man’s video stirred up reactions among netizens, with many playfully mocking his new look. One user even referred to him as the “Nigerian Steve Harvey”.

    Some of the comments on the video,

    @eyecandyjewelry_ Noooooooo😂

    @priscilliaojeh Nigerian Steve Harvey 😂

    @chinenye_emmaculate Wow my village oracle 😂😂😂 I know it you

    @the.keneeyimegwu This is grounds for a break up

    @yhung_papii I was thinking off shaving of my beards…. I go just look like unripe mango 😂

    @ozylaz_ We forgive you but please don’t try it again 😭🙏
